Gladihoppers immerses players in the world of ancient Rome, where they become gladiators fighting for freedom, glory and survival. The game’s plot centers on a hero who was sent to this camp against his will. He did not want this fate, but now he is forced to fight to stay alive.
Gladihoppers begins with you undergoing training under the strict supervision of trainers. Here you are taught the basics of combat:
Every day in is hard training and humiliation, but the guy understands that this is his only chance to become stronger and get at least a tiny chance in the arena.
Immediately after learning the rules, you are greeted by the roar of the crowd, thirsty for blood and spectacles. Each fight in the game is a test at the limit of possibilities, and even a small mistake can lead to death.

Gradually, the protagonist of the Gladihoppers attracts the attention of influential people, including senators and patrons. They can offer him support or even ransom him if he proves himself worthy. But he also learns about intrigues, corrupt officials.
